Organised by Plamo India, the competition welcomes beginners, experienced builders and customisers. Choose your category, create your entry, and compete online for a place in the physical Finals at Japan Habba 2027.

Bring out the potential of a single kit through a clean straight build, without modifying or customising it.

Transform a kit through paint, weathering, detailing and customisation. Make the finished build your own.
Special category
Celebrate the adorable side of scale modelling. Bring character, creativity and enough cuteness to make voters say “SO CUTE!”

Open to anyone in India. Enter up to three categories, with only one entry per category. Use a separate build for each category and follow its rules.

ROUND 01 / ENTIRELY ONLINE
The first round takes place online, so builders from across India can participate without attending Japan Habba.
Follow your category’s rules, include the mandatory before and after photos, and declare any 3D-printed parts. Submit through the official Google Form by 20 November 2026 at 11:59 PM IST.

The top 10 entries in each of Origin Spec, Kaizo and Moe advance. Finalists bring their builds to the physical Finals at Japan Habba 2027.
Explore the FinalsFinalists bring their builds to Japan Habba 2027 on 9–10 January. The entries are showcased at the event, giving visitors the opportunity to see the work up close.
The Finals combine on-ground voting at Japan Habba with online voting. Visitors can vote in person, while the wider community can take part from across India.
Anyone in India, from first-time builders to experienced modellers. You do not need to be a professional.
Yes. You can enter one, two or all three categories, with one entry per category. Each category must have a separate build; the same build cannot be entered in multiple categories.
Only where the category rules permit them. Declare every use of 3D-printed parts when submitting and follow the applicable painting requirements.
Painting is prohibited in Origin Spec. Kaizo requires at least 50% of the visible model to be painted. Painting is allowed in Moe. Garage kits are prohibited in Kaizo and Moe.
Before and after photos are mandatory. Photograph the kit before any customisation or modification, then photograph the completed build.
The deadline is 20 November 2026 at 11:59 PM IST. Entries will be collected through an official Google Form, to be announced through Plamo India’s channels. Late entries will not be accepted unless Plamo India announces otherwise.
Qualifiers take place online. Finalists bring their builds to the physical Finals at Japan Habba 2027 on 9–10 January 2027, where the builds will be showcased.
Public online voting selects the top 10 entries in each category for the Finals. The Finals combine in-person voting at Japan Habba with online voting.
